If you wish to cancel or modify the confirmed reservation, you will be asked to pay a cancellation fee depending on the seasonality in accordance with our policy.

No, we don’t clean or visit your room during your stay. We hope you enjoy your stay without our disturbance.
However, changing bed sheets are possible at ¥1,000 per person.

Children under 3 years old with no bedding don’t incur a cost. However, children from 3 years old are counted as adults.
Maximum capacity of the house is 8 guests. More than 8 guests are not accepted in compliance with the Inns and Hotels Act and Fire Service Act.

We serve breakfast (¥2,500 per person) as optional. We have Japanese breakfast and a few other menus. Please book in advance.

You can cook your own food as you do at home. Refrigerator, microwave, cooking utensils and crockery are in the property. There are also plenty of eating out places around the house.

There are a variety of shops nearby, such as the Nishiki-Ichiba Market and a couple of supermarkets amongst others, as Oyado Hana is situated in the heart of the city.

Yes. In the refrigerator there is still water of 500ml for everyone. Please feel free to use the refrigerator if you buy some drink or food. Please note we dispose of items left in the refrigerator after check-out.

Yes, it is. We ask you to use the self-storage room outside the property. Please contact us in advance if you’d like to use it. We will give you the procedure beforehand.
We ask you not to leave any valuable goods and perishable foods at the storage.

Yes. There is a bathroom with bathtub and shower. It is also a good idea to try the sento public bath nearby for your authentic Japan experience.

No. The house is made of wood, with more than 100 years of history. It can be very fragile and combustible.
Please refrain from smoking in the house and surrounding streets, as the house is not possible to rebuild under the Building Standards Act. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

We ask you to keep quiet in the evening and night time as machiya houses in Kyoto are adjacent to each other in narrow residential areas.
In rare cases, we may ask you to cancel your stay if you make any noise troubles with the neighbors, and we will not refund in any circumstances. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
